Tree

We have this new thing in the house. My mom put it up this weekend. It kind of looks like a tree but it sure doesn't smell like one!

I thought maybe it was for me to eat so I tried chewing on the branches and some of the stuff mom hung on it. Mom laughed but she told me “no!” really, really loud. So I guess I'm not supposed to chew on it after all. But then what the heck is it for?

Some of us remember one from last year, when we were very little, but it will be the first time Tama-Chan sees one. We're not sure what it's for but there are all kinds of fun shiny things dangling from it!!!

Hey Sophy, let me tell you a little secret. If you have been a good dog all year long, Santa Paws will visit your house. Zoe told me all about him.

Santa Paws bring toys and treats that you have to unwrap. It's great fun.

I am going to meet Santa Paws on Dec 14. I will share my picture with you.

I hope you get to meet him soon!

Hi Sophy!
Last year was my first Christmas and I didn't know what that tree was for either! So on Christmas morning we all came down stairs and I saw all the presents under the tree! But I panicked since I didn't get anything for anyone and I squatted down peed right under the tree! My Owners didn't like that too much, but I swear I hear Owner Girl say I had left a present for Owner Boy one day before I was house trained. How was I supposed to know!

hey Sophy,

A tree in the house? What's up with that?! I hope you marked your territory (just make sure your mom does not see you)! And make sure to check that no squirrels are hiding in those pretty green branches!

Sen, Tama and Tom, How come we're not supposed to play with the ballson it though?

Addie, Really? Oooh, that does sound good.

Dennis, I thought of that but my mom already told me not to!

Lorenza, My mom told me my new rope ball is a present. You mean I'll get even more?

Tibby, Why did they get upset? My mom already told me I better not do that but it's a tree so it must be part of outside, right?

Suka, My mom told me I better not. And she said there aren't any squirrels in there but I'm not so sure. There's some mighty strange stuff on those branches!

Woof everyone!
